Took a quick trip to Deep Creek at Greenlane park today.  The temperature was up to 50° F

The ice was way too thin to walk on so I decided to cast around into the areas of open water that were not yet covered by ice.

While I didn’t catch any New Years fish it was a great day to be outside!  Today’s casting practice was a good reason to get outdoors and help get rid of some of my wintertime cabin feaver.
