Monofilament are popular and cheap alternative that already exists almost during hundred years. It is made up of unique nylon fadenlinio. Because of many advantages fiŝistoj commonly favour braid instead of monofilament.
It has extremely little diameter: light braid matches in 1, 2 pound money but bid much more of fortostreĉo and almost any threshold. Dank’ to the little diameter on the spool you lay more line on your fold. For instance threefold more 10-pound braid reclines on fold than monofilament.
Monofilament and Braid Fishing Lines
You receive 250 jarĝojn braid rather to 185 jarĝojn monofilament for same testfortoj. Because of that slim diameter braid casts much more long than money and it meets fewer akvorezisto. During fishing in surfaj waves the action does not draw the line like this strongly when you have lot from it outside.
The rating of fiŝkaptvergo depend of the linioforto no of diameter. Like this the rating stays same for money or braid. Stronger braid no superpas the limits of your cane.
Braid surpasses money in fortostreĉo and are less flexible. It well helps for fortiĝa hokigo in fishes with difficult or osseous muzzles because it almost no elŝoviĝas. Even so against ŝmirado it is weak.
In rocky places some escapes it because it can break. Also fishes more easily see braid.
For help against visibility and for add fortostreĉon many use guide. Combine braid with monofilament either fluorokarbona guide does the line multeŭza. The guide nearest to the bait hamper for fish note the line.
Commonly 30-pound braid matches in 8-pound money 50-pound to 12-pound. Other cases: 20-pound braid likes 6-paundan money 65-pound match 12-paundan diameter. Some reckons that 40-pound braid has diameter as 15-pound money.
Do not exist precise konverta formula but compare diameters between braid and money. Labels on packages range so well read them. Some fiŝistoj lay braid as ĉeflinion and attach monfilan ŝokbufro for more elŝoviĝo.
It is usefull for driva fishing because braid elŝoviĝas only in 2 percentages during money in 20 percentages.
